ASM is a non-profit, non-sectarian society founded in 1951 by two associates of Gandhiji to work, by means of constructive programs for a greater degree of economic equality. Their aims are: health,economic, edu, disaster relief & rehabilitation. ASM is working with most disadvantaged communities. In 1970s, ASM responded to emergency relief work. As a part of rehabilitation work, ASM undertook a program for weaving, training,improvement in equipment and fabric design and marketing techniques.
